Hi! I’m Alison,
an experienced veterinary nurse, here for all your specialised and extraordinary pet sitting requirements.
I have extensive knowledge in a diversity of domestic and exotic pets. With over 20 years experience, I can care for your pets in their own home or provide a boarding service and you can have the reassurance they are being cared for by a professional.
A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ALISON
I have always had a passion for all animals but hold a particular admiration for those that may require a little more specialised care. I grew up with dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish and birds in the home. From the age of ten I have owned a diversity of insects and arachnids, going on to reptiles, amphibians, tropical and marine fish. I have a lot of experience with many different animals and, believe we must provide optimal husbandry for our pets to thrive. My role as a pet sitter is to continue this care so you can relax while away knowing your pets are in the best care.
With over 15 years of nursing experience I have also received the formal training with animal care and handling. I can be booked to provide nursing to post hospitalised patients and administer prescribed medications. Consultations can also be booked for post surgical checks, diabetic owner training, nail clipping, dressing changes, ear cleaning, tick removals, and anal glands.

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT MARK
I grew up in a family with cats and have always loved a fur ball. When I met Alison my eyes were opened to exotic pets and small dogs! She owned a saltwater aquarium with some amazing fish and coral. I was captivated and helped look after it with her and even bought some livestock for it. Once we moved in together I had to have my own marine tank (pictured). I would love everyone to enjoy the hobby and find success. I get such a sense of reward when I help an aquarium to look better for its owner and for the inhabitants to thrive.
I work as a Rehabilitation Manager during the day and my role is to help people recover from serious injuries. I enjoy cooking, keeping fit and skiing in my spare time.
